Bethel Deli

Hands down the best hoagies you will find in the entire Pittsburgh area, and have been voted as such even beating another strong contender (The Real McCoy Original, located on the south side.) The meat is is incredibly fresh and the sandwiches are as fully loaded as you want, the onions and tomatoes were crisp and juicy, the mayo was just the correct amount. The part that really makes this hoagie stand out is the bread and cheese, their hoagies are perfectly toasted delights! Don't pass by this hidden gem or you will surely regret it.

The dining room was completely renovated by the new owner, and it has a pleasant atmosphere, with a fireplace and a huge tank of tropical fish. They also rent out for larger events.

Fried fish is always a good go to item. Excellent beer selection with seasonal rotation at their medium sized bar that's always packed with locals. The serving staff is very friendly and will treat you like a long time friend. Overall, Dorido's is a great place to grab a bite and a beer, it is a shining example of a well run, locally owned family owned restaurant. Just be warned, due to their amazing fish dishes you may become addicted and stuck with long weight times during lent.
